Let’s take a quick look at these new features: Support for SQL Server Denali CTP1 ApexSQL Log 2011 will support analysis of SQL Server Denali CTP1 transaction logs Increased performance ApexSQL Log 2011 will provide significant performance increases Visual row filter Auditing results will be filtered visually, allowing you to quickly identify the results that are particularly interesting to you Improved scalability when reading from very large transaction log files The release will support analysis of very large transaction log files Improved support for SQL 2005 SP1, SQL 2008 and SQL 2008 R2 ApexSQL Log 2011 R2 will fully support auditing of the following types of rows:
Support for operations done in BULK INSERT ApexSQL Log will be able to audit operation done in BULK INSERT, such as SELECT INTO User-friendly dialogs Key dialogs will be redesigned to provide additional information and increase usability These features will be spread out across two subsequent ApexSQL Log 2011 releases planned for the third and fourth quarter of 2011.
