Charlie team update: ApexSQL Complete and ApexSQL Refactor

What have you been working on?

Charlie team continue in a cycle of improving our free add-ins for SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio. Our focus is currently on improving quality and usability improvements on ApexSQL Complete. We also improved impact preview for ApexSQL Refactor.

What is the ETA to production?

The ETA for release of ApexSQL Complete is planned for the end of February. And for ApexSQL Refactor, released this last week.

What is included in the new release?

As for the ApexSQL Complete, there will be more than 50 fixes and improvements.

As for the ApexSQL Refactor, we implemented new impact preview that works much better than the current one.

What is planned in future releases and what are ETAs?

We are planning Visual Studio 2015 and SQL Server 2016 support for all of our add-ins in Q1.

After ApexSQL Complete 2016.02, it comes ApexSQL Complete 2016.03 which will include both Visual Studio 2015 support and SQL Server 2016 support. After that, we will work on ApexSQL Refactor Visual Studio 2015 and SQL Server 2016 support. Along with ApexSQL Refactor, we will release ApexSQL Search with Visual Studio 2015 support and SQL Server 2016 support.
