ApexSQL Doc documents SSRS reports (*.rdl), shared datasets (*.rsd), shared data sources (*.rds) and projects (*.rptproj) from the file system and web services (native and SharePoint). All versions of SSRS, from 2005 are supported.
ApexSQL Doc SSRS documentation provides better understanding of reports – it allows documenting all report components: parameters, datasets and data sources:
Include detailed documentation of SQL/MDX used to populate the dataset
Include all report item properties: text boxes, lines, tables, matrixes, rectangles, lists, images, subreports, charts, gauges, maps, data bars, sparklines and indicators
Document shared data sources to track data source properties and changes during time
Documentation of shared datasets provides a multiple reports data, based on the shared data sources
