PASS Summit 2014 – event recap – food, folks, and sharks!

We’ve had a busy and fun week at the PASS Summit and we’re like to share our summary with you.

Tools, tools, tools

The SQL community loves a good tool and we’re lucky to have a lot of people approaching our booth and giving us feedback. We came back full of information and ideas on our further development.

At the first day of the PASS Summit we released ApexSQL Source Control 2015 and gave a lot of demos and got a lot of good insights from the community. Here is Ogi from the ApexSQL Source Control developer team answering questions

We were happy to chat about performance monitoring, log reading, and database auditing as well. Here is Adi, aka “The Eliminator” our project lead on ApexSQL Monitor, talking to Matt Slocum

Community

We love supporting the community and we were happy to attend the SQL Saturday Roundtable meeting with Microsoft and SIOS, and share our insights and event feedback with the community leaders and volunteers.

We were interviewed by PASS TV to speak about our cooperation with the SQL community

We’ve met new and caught up with our old friends like Tom Norman

And Dmitri Korotkevitch and Denis Reznik

The latest but not the least important, the Sharky was the most interesting member of our team. He was flying high in the exhibition hall for most of the 2nd and 3rd days. Here he is with Pinal Dave

And we welcomed anyone to try their hand at flying him, when Sergey Olontsev let them that is

All in all we’ve had a lot fun and we’ll see you in Seattle next year!

Check out the rest our pictures in our Facebook album let them that is
