We have published a development roadmap for ApexSQL Audit, a tool for SQL Server auditing and compliance (e.g. HIPPA, PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley), covering the next 3 versions (from current to R3) and the next 6 months (from now to 2015 Q1). See ApexSQL Audit roadmap.
We find that these roadmaps are really helpful to current and potential customers, in that it provides full and detailed transparency, into our development process, milestones, and schedule. As we get a lot of questions about “What’s next” we find that these roadmaps help us really address these questions quickly.
As you can see from the roadmap, we have laid out an aggressive schedule, and have loaded it with lots of features and improvements. All of these releases will be free upgrades to existing customers, even if we decide to turn R3 into ApexSQL Audit 2015 R1, as subscriptions cover all minor and major versions.
