2013 was a great year for ApexSQL
- We achieved record breaking revenue growth and added another 600 customers to our family
- We re-designed our website from scratch
- We released major updates to a variety of tools e.g. ApexSQL Log, we released a new tool ApexSQL Audit, and significantly updated and improved our FREE tools, and we released community editions of two of our most popular tools – ApexSQL Diff and ApexSQL Data Diff
- We began work on a new product, ApexSQL Monitor, that should be released in early 2014
- We sponsored 34 community events, in 11 different countries. See our Event page for upcoming events we are sponsoring
- We reached 50,000 Facebook likes, 4,000 GooglePlus +1’s, and 2,000 Twitter followers
- We increased the size of the company including more than doubling our product support team. We also created several entire new departments including Branding, SEO, and Sales Operations
- We finished and posted our company values statement: Working naked
- We had the most successful launch of a commercial product – ApexSQL Audit, which set records for first period revenue
- We achieved some amazing performance breakthroughs in our tools including ApexSQL Log, ApexSQL Diff, and ApexSQL Data Diff
- We won 4 community choice awards including:
- Best Security/Auditing/Compliance Product – ApexSQL Trigger
- Best Database Development Tool – ApexSQL Complete
- Best Free Tool – ApexSQL Refactor
And the bronze Award winner in:
- Best Vendor Support – ApexSQL
- We created a new SQL solutions blog with over 100 in-depth articles
2014 looks to be even better…
We plan on:
- Creating the best collection of add-ins for SQL Server Management Studio and Visual Studio, in the world, and keeping them FREE all through 2014
- Adding FREE Azure support to all of our applications (that we can)
- Adding new tools for Performance monitoring, Test data generation, and Database backup

- Releasing 2014 versions of all of our tools with SQL Server 2014 support, new interfaces, improved usability/quality/performance, and new features. See What’s Next
- Adding a new DBA bundle, for server licensed tools and price it under $1,999
- Creating a new SQL Server community site with content from SQL community members
