May 12, 2015ApexSQL Monitor feature highlight: Query execution plan viewer
The next release of ApexSQL Monitor 2015, version R3 planned for late May, will include an integrated query execution plan viewer, which can be accessed via the Query waits tab.
The Query execution plan viewer graphically displays the actual execution plan that the SQL Server Database Engine uses to execute the queries, thus enabling deeper analysis of problematic queries. The initial version of this feature will offer an easy way to analyze queries and it will be improved and become more sophisticated in future versions.

What have you been working on?
- We have been working on bug fixes, improving usability and general quality along with introducing new features: “Static data support” and “Exporting / importing filtering settings”. We have also isolated all known performance, usability and quality issues which will be resolved in coming releases
Delta team update: ApexSQL Generate – Update 2
What have you been working on?
- We have released ApexSQL Build 2015 with added support for SQL Azure servers/databases. It can now be used as an Azure migration tool. Also, we added support for Mercurial and Perforce source control systems.
- We are currently working on a new version of ApexSQL Generate – a tool for creating and inserting test data for SQL server and SQL Azure databases.
